The Swift Group (‘Swift’), operators of Swift Engineering in Mackay and Kingaroy, the Swift Mining Products division (incorporating the SEBBA product lines), and the Swift Cooling division; announced today the pending sale of its Engineering and Mining Products divisions to ESCO Corporation (‘ESCO’). Founded in Portland Oregon (USA) in 1913 and a still a privately owned company, ESCO is a leading global provider of world class wear parts and attachments for the mining and construction industry sectors.

SEBBA International, Swift Group's mining products division which specialises in the design and fabrication of innovative Off Highway Truck bodies and mass excavator buckets, has recently been selected by Hitachi Indonesia as one of two preferred suppliers of Hitachi E4500 truck bodies to the major expansion program of Indonesian based KPC Coal Mine (one of the largest coal mines in the world).

Actual site data has shown that the Cat 789 trucks fitted with the MKII 130m3 SEBBA DIRT BOSS bodies are achieving on average 10 liters per hour less fuel consumption than the Cat 789’ fitted with conventional bodies.
SEBBA International has also been awarded an order to supply PT Hexindo Indonesia the first Hitachi EH4500 MKIII SEBBA DIRT BOSS BODY into KPC Sangatta Kalimantan Indonesia.

Swift Engineering were recently awarded the contract for the supply of shop drawings, fabrication and erection of a 1000ton surge bin and support structure for Ausenco at Carborough downs.
